HBO present Eddie Hearn with four potential opponents for Carl Froch

^ wbc stripped him because he could not defend it due to his shoulder injury right? Yet floyd still has his junior middleweight strap from the wbc with no defense to speak of -
Makes sense for Tim to insist on compulsory drug testing. One of the people in Marquez camp have got a very dirty past with PED's, changed his name name after being busted once. I they really do need to clean up boxing

I hope Paulie wins. Broner is a great talent, I cant stand him outside of the ring. He thinks he is a good talker, he thinks he is funny. I just cringe at the things he comes out with. Paulie has had his number in the build up, I just hope he can some way out point him on a decision -
shiit it might have been a good job froch didnt ever face him as a mandatory

★★★ Lucas Martin Matysse vs Lamont Peterson ★★★

Maybe saying he is ducking isnt very fair. But there really isnt anywhere he can really go in that division now. Anyone ranked in the top 5 will give him serious problems and i think he is one more bad defeat from quitting for a while. at least he can move up, and try and get a footing at welterweight. Take a few safer fights, He thinks he will have better punch resistance at 147 as he is not draining himself to make weight. TBF it does make much more sense moving up than sticking at light welter. I retract my statement -
That is some jump in weight! Fair play to him, but he should never of been there.

Did Lopez fight Cannel at 154?

Cable curls hit the peak of the bi's nicely. I mainly do chin ups, ez curl standing and alternate between wide and narrow grip, 10 of each back to back. Another day I will use the hammer curl bar and reverse curls on the ez bar

Im looking great since ive swapped my routine from heavy weight/ low reps to a more intense low reps high weight. Ive dropped a few pounds and Im looking much bigger and ripped. Ive only been doing it for about 2-3 weeks. Just goes to show how switching your routine can give great results

Carl Froch - Mikkel Kessler II, O2 Arena, 25th May
kahuna replied to Fighting Weight's topic in Sports Room
I actually paid the £15 for the fight on sbo, So far ive only watched Froch v kessler and that alone was worth my money. Amazing fight, I though Froch might have finished him in the 12th with out the need of a ref. Glad the ref didnt stop it. Despite this form, I still dont think Froch can hang with Ward. He is just too classy, his style would just out point Froch again. Steiglitz would be a safer bet, Bhop would be a boring fight. Groves isnt there yet, although that could be a froch/ calzaghi situation and they never match them up. Groves will be a world champ for sure, but I dont think it will come from a Froch fight. Glovotkin moving up? The o2 was bouncing. Its shows like that that could bring floyd over for a fight against Khan. Imagine it at wembley!!! -

I think there is the risk of Hunter making Khan an average fighter. His best asset was his speed on the offence, There are not many boxers who can let the hands go with the speed of Khan, In any weight class. But he did rely on attack being his best form of defence. Now he less willing to throw flurries as he has been taught to fight smarter. Hunter has improved his defence, but as a result the offence has suffered and he is still having trouble with light weights and washed up champs. With Khans chin, he cant afford to get hit clean at all. SO now there is a fighter with average defence skills, good offence and still with a glass chin. Also Richard Scheafer has confirmed that he is moving up to 147 and essentially ducking the most competitive devision in boxing. I can see this Mayweather v Khan happening but most likely sept next year. If its going to happen it will be in the UK. I could see this selling out 30K to 40K seats easy, PPV both sides of the atlantic. BIG BUCKS -
i could do 60 perfect form easy EASY

Alternative to creatine and protein shakes
kahuna replied to 15th side of east's topic in Sports Room
thats a lot of effort, i need to sort out my diet in work hours, its too easy to go to greggs. I take chicken and rice a couple times a week, but i need to motivate myself to prep. Ive always had that luxury of eat what I want and not gain weight. All this has changed since I started the office job a few months back, got the slightest podge on my belly when i sit. Im only 11 stone and about 5,10 I still look thin, just not used to have anything folding over! -
Alternative to creatine and protein shakes
kahuna replied to 15th side of east's topic in Sports Room
differs for every person but the max is around 40 / depends what your diet is like, i'm on a strict diet where i'll have 7-8 small meals per day, 2 of them will be carb based (breakfast & 1 hour before gym so i can get an effective workout in) and the other 5-6 ill be around 35-40 grams of protein + some greens.. P shakes aren't needed, i can get it all from my food but 1.5/2 scoops of most shakes will be 35-40g thus counting as a protein meal and saving me having to cook/eat.. that diet is to keep me cut tho, i'm currently 8% body fat and need to get down to 5-6 by august doesn't matter how you get your protein.. fish, chicken, egg whites, beef steak, shake but anymore than 40g is a waste How do you work these meals in during the day? Do you work and have them all prepped up? Are the meals all different? I dont know if I could cook/prep 8 healthly meals! -

i only ever buy protein on discount supplements when they email the 13% off codes. Its about £40 up front but last me at least 2 months But bananas and oats, and tuna would be the best alternative. just dont mix tuna with milk, please -

It really was horrible mismatch. As for having no power, he was basically fighting with one hand. I wanted to see Brook v Alexander so much, this was a disgraceful match. when asked about fighting brook after this, Devon really brushed it off wanting Mayweather or Khan. Alexander v Khan would be a better match up for Khan, as he will not go any where near Mathysse with his awful chin. It doest look like he wants to fighter Petterson again and I dont think he would be able to handle Angel Garcia again, let alone Danny in his recent form. Mathysse V Garcia is what a fight should be, No1 v No2. It could be a war, it could be a very quick night. Its looking very likely this will get made. Winner could easily move up to 147 putting them in the frame for Mayweather Id like to see brook in with a top 10 welterweight like Burto or even Victor Ortiz who is a big name in the US. Some exciting match making to come in the next few months -
Carl Froch - Mikkel Kessler II, O2 Arena, 25th May

I can not wait, Ive seen people selling tickets on FB for face value but Ive got a corporate hospitality 'show the clients a good time' on the friday and saturday, so wont even be near a TV. Im a little bit gutted, Im still going to buy it and watch it later. If you buy the excuse froch had from the first fight, they thought it would be called off due to travel issues with the volcano and dust cloud. he took his foot off the gas training wise and then last minute they got to travel. He should be in a better place for this, DESTROYING Bute last year has got to give him confidence. Kessler beat Mcgee with ease. Im still thinking Froch will take this, but I see it going 12 rounds, I see it being close. -
I hear it was gruesome, Lebedev got fucked up and might lose an eye. But apparently fight of the year contender
