Im gona strat putting stuff down on paper tomorrow, make a few calls here and there get some info together on the clubs before I start the promo stuff. I jus have a feeling I'm gonna get bumped by the club. what's a reasonable price for desposit on a club capacity around 150-300?

that's the main thing that was botherin me. Ill be honest when I'm in/leavin a rave I usually use the flyer to cool myself down. We got a reputation for gettin these typa clubs shut down. well yeh the shows and stations i got picked out, their listeners are my target audience. it's gonna be urban music that's all im sayin lol. I did A-Level media so I know some marketing stuff was gonna do it with a friend who started pr at uni, dunno if that's a good thing to get friends involved cause people are putting me off... to be fair I didn't really think it would be that much of an issue

wanna keep the ideas between myself and the other person involved for now. basically wanna get a new night started up, i've seen a big gap in the market. just not sure how to start up, i.e do contracts need to be drawn up between club owners and myself, what should i be expecting money wise, how is that usually handled, i.e promoters keep door money club keeps bar takings etc

At the end of the day, if a girl grows up in an environment where being loose is acceptable, or many people are behaving that way, why is she going to act any different?IMO this whole thread comes down to nurture over nature. If you grow up around people who steal you're gonna grow to think it's acceptable/the norm to steal right?I think men are hiding behind this 'it's in our genetic make up to sleep around' bs.You all know sex before mariage is wrong so what makes you think 'spreading your seed' is acceptable?Technically we should all only ever sleep with one person, our husband/wife. I've been to two now. Love it, they have loads of mini catwalk shows that give out freebies, a main catwalk show at the end (the haute couture stuff) all different clothes sections i.e street wear, designer, unusual (i.e gothic etc), make up and hair etcI would definately recommend it! Im gonna go again this year

The credit crunch and inflation shouldn't even effect these companies anyways... to make, it costs like 3p per chicken nugget, 10p for a milk shake and 14p for a big mac, something ridiculous like that anyways (yeh I did work at Maccy D's when I was 16 and what?!)These companies are jus takin advantage of a bad situation
