There are many contributing factors, families are one of many. There is a fucked up mentality within the community of minorities that is destructive. This "op ", "Trap" "321" or "51" business has to be deaded.

There isn't a solution to what is happening. Many things need to change within black communities with the aid of government help. The more I read about this black on black crime, not only in London but in Birmingham, Manchester ect, I begin to question many things. Why is it when there is injustice and fuckery targeted against our race, we protest, we bring awareness to social media? But when we are out here promoting violence, killing each other we don't go the extra mile to change our community? Many black communities in this country are self destructive. We talk so much about injustice and barriers of being black, but do we really love ourselves?

Yeah thats what I was trying to say. It is expected but as you said with a proper project management team and I guess more sponsors to support them at a better venue would be helpful. You are right about the attendance. The rated awards was full of industry heads and not a lot of fans. It would be interesting to know what their demographic is when it comes to views. Because it would not surprise me that the majority of their subscribers are u-18's. I reckon the vibe could be better if it was held in a Manchester or Birmingham.

The energy was dead on the GRMDaily award . The energy was dead at the MOBOs also. MOBO's has the better quality but the people within industry don't really like the politics of the awards. GRMDaily is like the people's champ, the majority wants it to overtake MOBOS but because they are new to this award ceremony stuff they are going to have a lot of teething issues. They also need to compete with the pull factor and legacy that the MOBOs have. If the scene continues to put through good music hopefully there will be a better awards show next year.

I respect what Posty and co are doing with this Awards show but more work is required before it can compete with the Mobo's. Crowd has been poor. The transition from performance to award announcing is pretty inconsistent. And the stage production has not been up to par thus far. Hopefully next year will be better.
