I remember reading an article about John Barnes becoming bankrupt and how it happened. It's just one of those things where footballers are not being careful or smart enough with their money. Thats why i rate players like Owen .

I was going to post this in the random pictures thread but he deserves his own. He's an amazing artist who uses pencils and charcoal to create his art.

I cannot be bothered to type so i will keep it short.. Majors view their artist as a product pretty much they are more business orientated Independents are willing to back an artist and their style without trying to change them. Majors do have the financial muscle but i am led to believe that they do not understand the urban artist in the UK If you look at takeover entertainment although they distribute their music through sony, if you look at their past artist. Dappy,Tinchy and Ndubz, they were able to achieve top ten singles market and position them in the mainstream market, which other major labels struggled to do in this country. Independent labels are one step ahead of the majors when it comes to UK urban music.

yeah but im saying youre saying getting signed aint great etc then saying indie is best major or indie, getting signed is getting signed its not..

An artist will have more freedom under an indie regardless if they are picked up by a major or not..

Being an rapper/mc and getting signed to a major is not really that great, especially in this country. Trying to get signed is the easy option imo indie ftw
