Forest overachieved with the back to back trophies and also with the Frank Clarke premiership years where we reached as high as 3rd. Truss forest achieved in the wrong era - before money ran the game.Newcastle dont have a big fanbase.They just have a big stadium and one football club in the city.Never won nothing, Spurs can be called underachievers as we were at least good in the past for a while.True as well i'd go as far to say that 90% of Newcastle fans are locals, outside of newcastle the support is quite low. To answer the question i'd say spurs simply because the talent they had in the late 80s early 90s should have brought them much more sucess but then again Everton, Liverpooll and Arsenal had strong teams as well. Newcastle, who've spent shitloads too, haven't.So are we talking past or present? cause spurs have won things but aren't now. They always had p's to spend Freedy Shappeard was making a fortune. They are the worst buy far just think how many big players they had over the years but keep flopping and the wages they been playing them i bet no player at Newcastle is under 40k , u know if big sam never took over they would be spent some big p.They haven't even scored at home since Saturday, 10 February 2007 allow paying big money to watch your team but they cant score at home thats daylight robbery and the fact there players get paid some super wages, Dyer on 80k a week and always injured Tottenham have not won anything Major since 91 Newcastle ain't won anything serious since......since Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Everyone there supports them and as there aint no other teams to spread it out, The fanbase is gonna be huge. So yes, seeing as they aint won sh*t for centuries, and spent money for centuries, They underachieved alot.Tottenham have been a top 10 team in england and always do well(ish) in little europe... However they aint won nothing in a while so you can say they underachieved. Not as much as Newcastle though if you consider fanbase a factor.
