Him having to work in a bank for 10 years to buy all the things you have is hardly relevant, nor likely. And if I remember correctly, "one" of your current jobs is retail. Im not sending fam, but dont throw stones from glass houses.If hes telling the truth, the kids 17, he's got a job in a bank.If hes smart, and plays his cards right, and doesnt get taken for a prick, he will stay there 6-9months, get skills to put on his CV, then either look for a promotion, or move to a different job (UPWARDS). Do this for 4 or 5 years and he could be looking at 30G's a year by the age of 23.Its not a huge amount, but for someone who left school with no A-Levels, its respectable. Especially since at the age of 23 theres so much more room for growth in terms of career pathing.If he intends to do what the majority of the working population do, and stay in a dead end job without seeking promotion or moving on to better things for 5 years in the same spot, then none of what Ive just said applies.
