can you get a one day travelcard on they oystercard???online?all im seeing is options for pay as you go and 7 day travelcardi just want one day

As far as I know you can't get one-day travelcards online, only in stations or at pay points.You can't get a 7-day pass that starts THAT day either, only the following day, which is sh*t.

Not strictly true. They have cap prices on an Oyster. So just put 6 quid on there, or 5.50, and once its all been used, the rest of the day is free travel.

you can still get it from a couple machines, ask for one adult and one child then cancel the adult one before you pay

Truth.But you gotta be extra careful and make sure you tap in and tap out @ every possible exits or change of line etc or it'll have ya.Child travelcards are useless, most gates reject them straight and explaining is loooooong.

You can get oyster one-day travelcards at paypoints/stations. £2 child travelcard is still available on oyster (child cards of course)

If you have a young person's railcard, get them to link that to you oyster. Caps off at £4.80 and you have a travel card for ANY zone. I hate oystercard, but this makes it more bearable.
