tuna in brine is an acquired taste. im eating it atm. the brine and tuna juice means its easier to swallow and u dont need to chew as much. i usually accompany this dish with a pint of cold water to quickly wash the taste out of my mouth after each mouthful. also eating the tuna at this hour of the evening coincides with my usual nightly toilet visit to brush my teeth and prepare myself for slumber. therefore the taste of the tuna and brine liquid is completley displaced by the cool and refreshing flavour of macleans.

Maaaan, was late to go out so chucked a tin of tuna down the gullet. Was good. With a glass of water it goes down pretty quickly.Was in brine as well and look... I didn't die!

the fat mackerel has is essential to the body...i eat both tuna and mackerel but i prefer mackerel...

Had mackerel earlier... Was sick. Came in tomato sauce so I had it straight from the tin. £1. Was great. My new daily snack. 17g of protein boxed away in a couple delicious seconds.
