london's skyline is recognisable bcos of a few buldings which most modern cities also have

you can say london's most recognisable buildings are among the oldest which is why its recognisable

if you never lived in london before and you were shown the london skyline without st pauls, buckingham palace, and houses of parliament it would be any other old european city.
