There was a segment about this on BBC News this morning....It's to do with explosives

 

Apparently there was a case where a few bombs were discovered, hidden inside a printer, printer cartridges and a set of mobile phones

 

 

If you cant switch your electronic device on, it will require a more thorough scan..... if that results in nothing, then fine, you can carry on

 

if it raises suspicion, (loose wires etc) it may be retained

 

 

 

c/s the introduction of charging points everywhere soon... about time

at least a reason's been given now, was annoyed reading yesterday thinking they're giving a rule with no official reason
