While the finances aren't broken down when they are released, they tend to give a guideline which if you pay enough attention to along with the additional comments made and the general goings on, you can form a rough idea.This is what i mean, the author may have a rough idea where money is going, but in the article he portrays it as fact and then a lot of people believe it as fact.The people who know how and where money is spent will be the directors because the general public are not given enough info to know everything. You will struggle even with PLC's that release thier annual accounts to the public, to know exactly the ins and outs of the finances.It seems to me this author has gathered together info from many various sources, some of which are likely to be completely unrealiable (notw, the sun etc) and then pieced it together and came up with his own opinion and presented it as factual. Like i say i'm sure there is some truth to the article, as i believe currently we are experiencing some cash flow problems, but i'm not believing for 1 second this guys figures or opinion are 100% accurate unless he is a director, accountant or an auditor for Arsenal.

I read this articel a few days ago. How on earth would this guy know our finances inside and out? As far as i'm aware we release only limited financial info for public consumption as we are not a public ltd company, it certainly doesn't go into detail to say this bit of the loan was repaid from what we got from Nike and this is what we did with the granada shares etc. I'm not saying there is no truth behind the article, but i doubt the realiability of the financial info he has used to draw his conclusions.

Don't think he has made the progress at utd that he should of. This though is due to inuries and not really ever having a set position in the utd team. If he had been given the same role to play week in week out, we would of seen a better rooney.

In the prem only wenger and fergie's jobs are permanently safe. Everyone else needs to produce results every season, whether that is a top 4 finish or not getting relegated. They therefore needs results now and can't afford the time to develop or train players as much as a lot of them would like.

Take it back a year ago. If anyone had said that flamini would have been one of our best players and fought over by some of europes biggest clubs this summer you would of been laughed off this forum. He was gonna be shipped off to b'ham for a small fee this time last year!!Somehow wenger can get players to stand up when it is needed, who is to say that won't be the case with diaby/song/ramsey??Until i see the 1st team play in emirates or amsterdam tournament i'm reserving judgement on what this team can do this year.

He's said we'll bring in someone with experience, so that will be a good thing.I don't think money is holding him back at all, we blatantly have money to spend, i think Arsene's attitude is what is stopping us making world class signings.I honestly believe he wants to win the league with youngsters to prove that it can be done and until he does, he won't change his transfer regime.
