  5. Went cinema last week to watch Precious with the other halfFound myself fidgeting so much to get the f*ck out of the cinema as I was bored to deathNothing groundbreaking, yeah it is a sad story but put together badly, rushed and tbh just forgot about the main point of the story. Mrs Carey was terrible. On another note, watched 'Brothers' which was a good watch, good storyline and good performances from the two brothers. Plus Portman always gets a

  12. Precious is a 7.6 on IMDB, seems decent and will watch it sometime over the next week.Couples Retreat - Light hearted romantic comedy, good film to watch if you are just passing time or with the Mrs .. 5/10The Road - Weird film, gripping at times but at times came across as really simple, maybe it was meant to be that way but I would of preferred it if I understood the background of the plot a little more... the son came across as annoying throughout ... 7/10Up In The Air - George Clooney comes through again, not sure how to describe this one but I would recommend it highly, directed by the same guy who did Juno and Thank You For Smoking - 9/10

Surely you should of got all the answers at the start.
  15. sick guy, looking to do this over the summer and then a few weeks in Australia to see family. but i was thinking either thailand or vietnam so a couple questions... have u heard much about vietnam? is it any different just seems like everyone does thailand so wudnt mind doing things a little bit different. where and what would you recommend to do? how much money would you need to have a month there, including rough flight prices any websites with this info lol? Most of the information I got was from forums. The better ones were www.tigermuaythai.com and www.thaivisa.com. I just signed up and asked loads of questions and got a few good answers back. I was thinking about going to Vietnam and Cambodia but it just didn't end up happening. I'm not going to lie to you and pretend I know about them places because I don't but I'll ask a few people around where I'm staying later, there's a few heads that have done loads of travelling... in fact I know one whose just recently done them places as well as Burma. It all depends on you're interests and how long you're looking to spend over here. From my experience the minimum I would spend in each place would be 3 nights in Bangkok, 5 nights in Phuket, 2 nights in Koh Samui, 2 nights in Koh Phi Phi and 2 nights in Pattaya. You can easily double/triple that if you want to really experience everything, I mean I've been in Phuket for nearly 3 weeks and I still haven't experienced Patong in the day or properly been to Karon Beach. I would start in Bangkok, there's loads of resources to help you on what to do there so I'll let you research that. A return flight in high season which is between like October - March is around £700. Anything around that price is about right but I've seen people pay £500 and some people like £1200 for a direct flight. If at all possible try to get with Emirates, the girls are gorgeous and there basically the best airline. Then I'd head to Pattaya, this place is absolutely crazy. It's been voted the no.1 sin city in the world repeatedly and for good reason. I see guys with good morals hit up that place and spend like 20,000 baht in a few days on women, drink and god knows what else. After all the hustle and bustle of that I would go back to Bangkok and get the plane down to Phuket. The planes quite expensive at about 1,500 baht but the alternative is journey down there in a crappy mini bus with no air con and it's just horrible. I don't have enough time to tell you how good Phuket is so I'll just give you an overview. There are some amazing spa's dotted around, you can go shooting in Chalong but becareful of the shotgun it'll take your arm off, elephant riding is right next door as is paintballing and a monkey/snake show. The best beaches are Kata and Karon from my experience, I was only at Karon shortly but it is beautiful. There are loads of places to get fit and train in Muay Thai, Sinbi boxing gym is one of the best in Thailand and it's right next to a forest where Elephants just chill out. For night life head over to Patong for a more relaxed Pattaya feel, in my opinion it's loads better because it's not as sleazy. From Phuket, you can get picked up from you're apartment in a private taxi and a ferry over to Phi Phi for about 800 baht which is stupidly cheap. Phi Phi is a beautiful island but it's very westernized and quite expensive. Don't expect to pick up any culture but there's loads of easy Swedish/Australia birds so that's a bonus. Also in Phuket make sure you goto James Bond and Krabi islands. Check out some of my pictures up the top to see why. On the boat I met some great people and at the end they take you into caves and then to coconut island which is probably my favourite beach in Thailand. Hope this helps, gotta dash to training but but even with this wall of text I've only skimmed the surface. If you do decide to do Thailand, I can't see how you won't love it. Remember you saying you was going in January, looks amazing, how's the training going? I want to get over to a camp in the next 2-3 years, got other priorities at the moment but it is something I would like to do... how long are you over there for? Also what's the females saying?
