Is this an attempt to send? For your information i dont see much of this forum travelling the length of this country, seeing your team get beat by Newcastle, draws with Sunderland, pounded by Liverpool and dun in by f*ckin Sheffield Utd?If anyone is allowed an opinion based on WATCHING football here, it's me.

Any.I got the idea for this from seeing you post a few times about people judging players from what they've seen on MOTD.When I say judge, I mean summing up the player's total ability like "he's sh*t" as opposed to "from what I've seen, which is fairly limited, he doesn't look as good as hyped".Obviously sometimes it's said for attention or for jokes or simply to follow the general consenus but sometimes I get the idea that people actually believe what they say and base their opinion on nothing that even resembles first hand experience.

Well TF is right, too many expose themselves on a daily basis.Too many think they know all about your team from never seeing them play live, or even watching a full 90min re-run on Football First.Everyone can have their knee jerk reactions, i can put my hand up for that one too, but too many still hold on to some ridiculous opinion based on what Sky Sports or BBC say on the given subject in hand. And that is a fact. Also, everyone riding these 16 year old Brazilians or Peruvians. I dont even respond, cause that is straight from Football Manager."Watch out he's gonna be toooooooo sick""Sickest youth in world football"What?!Cause hes got a couple 19's and 20's on Football Manager. Or cause he skinned and opponent that was upped on youtube....Please!We can all have a good opinion on La Liga and the Premiership. But thats it, cause these are the only 2 leagues, that we here in Britain get an abbundance of. And even saying that, i can say that over 25% of this forum has yet to see their team play.

The bandwagons...Anti-Arsenal brigade initiated by supporters of other clubs. Ice and Murkserious started this off and almost everyone else who doesn't support Arsenal has jumped on it.Arsenal Defence League (ADL) initiated by supporters of Arsenal who sarcastically do the same about other teams in reply.

Well come on now.The hate arsenal get is just a general gist of how the rest of England feel.I see it everywhere, not just here, pubs an all.You get 2 types of fans when it comes to this -The Neutral - "I love the way arsenal play football, i love henry, so good for the premiership, wenger is a genius"Fans of other clubs in the Prem - "f*ckin anti English cunts, i hate em, i hate their players, arrogant pricks"

"Yeah I regularly watch the Maldives First Divison, Andros > Henry".Certain heads come like football encyclopedias. Come Saturday they must watch 5 screens at the same time to keep up with it all.

Commentators are just like this as well.Certain times Fabregas last season was having an average game and the commentator would be like "Fabregas keeps improving with every game" and I'm sitting there like biggrin.gif.

LOLSome random rant.Football is all about opinions, some people like to come to opinions of their own backs and some use others opinions to form the basis of theirs. Some people dont need to see a player 50 times before they can come to a conclusion a persons 1st touch is terrible, their shooting ability is non existant, they can only beat a man one way etc...How you think kids get picked for academies and sh*t, the scouts dont turn up to every game of the season, they may only attend a few and see things they like. Some kids who have come through acadamies wouldnt have come through at other clubs and in alot of cases that has happened, why? because even the scouts who get paid to analyse players can get it wrong, they have different opinions etc...If everyone got it right Rooney would have come through the Man U academy and they wouldnt have had to pay almost ã30mill for the guy init?

These days agents just turn up at their mates Under12s side and keep tabs on the manager's son and his bredrins. Scouts don't bother putting legwork in anymore. They all go and watch the same bait youth teams and sign up the whole side.

Good point Toney. What I find even funnier is people on here who act as if their opinion is cast in stone and is 100% the truth. And people who simply cant take criticism of their team so do one of the following:Try a witty comment to get a few laughsClaim that the person has no understanding of footballTry pop style on man like say their the oracleAlso i find it funny that Instant Classic that your saying people follow pundits when I've made points b4 and you've said to me " respected pundits have said..."One particular time was when we were discussing Carvahlo's form this season. If I haven't seen a player/team I dont comment, simple. Check all the threads about the random foreign players bare clubs look to sign where man's suddenly develop a knowledge of world football most scouts would envy.

but thats my point, you assume that anyone who makes a negative comment about Spurs hasn't watched them. For example in the other topic u were tryna convince me that Spurs midfield doesn't leave the team exposed, I watched Spurs on numerous occasions last season in Europe, the FA Cup and in the league so my comment wasn't based on ur goal difference....(which tells the same story anyway.)And like I said to you in that topic, if you watch MOTD 30 times and on 25 occasions you see a team conceding goals in a similiar vein, how can you argue that opinion isn't valid?

Ok, ok i hear what you say.But i never said that our midfield doesnt leave the defence exposed. That is a very easy thing to say when a team concedes goals, it doesnt mean that you watch our matches in full, you could pick that up from MOTD.I'm not getting onto speaking bout Spurs anyway. But i am saying, people who go to the matches, know vast amounts more about how that given team plays, than people who watch it on the TV.Being at match you see about 90% more than you see on the TV.That right there makes anyone who goes to games, opinions much greater than those that simply see it on TV.That's fact.
