liberal right Posted August 15, 2007 Report Share Posted August 15, 2007 My housing benefit got stopped, I rang up the housing benefit hotline and got transfered to the fraud investigation team.. they said I was being investigated for fraud.They sent there people round and 2,2s we got onto talking about the News of the world article so I thought 'hmmm, okaaay'He said to me"we had a mix up on the system and sent 2 payments to your previous landord who's name is Peter, he sent us them back so we thought it was strange so we called him and then he said" ...Peter - "naa he don't live at that address anymore, BY THE WAY did you see him in the NEWS OF THE WORLD ARTICLE a few weeks back?"The investigator come round with photocopies of the News of the World and everything..and he let slip of the grass...oh dear...Poor Peter.
