Not to try and come with an unpopular opinion but the first Bible was written in Greek I believe it was, between 50-100 years after the death of Christ. Also the original old testament was written in Hebrew which was then translated to Greek, this means there is likely to be inaccuracy as things are lost in translation. We don't know how accurate the Bible is considering it was written by followers of Christ after his death and not even by his disciples and in foreign tongues. The Qu'ran can suffer from the same problem but it likely to be way more accurate because it was written in Arabic then and still retains the same language. Also you can not discount the influence of man. The religious conquests can have influenced all religious books as Muslims and Christians were all fighting to enforce/spread their religion.
big up you

the bible was not written by followers of christ. the old testament was before jesus, the new testament was written by his followers.. if you want to talk about accuracy then you will go down a whole new route, accuracy as in..the things mentioned did NOT occur? there is so much mentioned in the the bible throughout the old and new testaments that are accurate predictions of the events that occured, are occuring and will occur, there really isnt any other book written so far back that can say that.

Sorry when I was referring to the Bible I meant the New Testament just to clear things up. The new Testament was written after Christ's Death in a foreign tongue. This means that there is room for inaccuracy as things are translated from one language to another to another etc...Since the new Testament was written after Christ's death it means that there is room for fabrication. Also like I said the influence of man could have affected the content of the books, religion has often been used to justify and support certain actions such as the religious crusades.

you opinion is right in your mind, not based on fact that you can clearly prove. if there God is supernatural, you cannot use natural thinking to try and reason. therefore walking on water is not something you will accept unless A: you see it for yourself, and even then will question it, or B: believe in the supernatural. the bible mentions Beasts, it doesnt mention dogs or cats, but mentions beasts of the air and land. the size of the ark of the covenant has been mapped out in todays metric system, there is a replica building of that size in australia.. it is more than large enough to accomodate dinosaurs. the problem with most Christians and the sticky factor of dinosaurs which are said to be millions of yrs old and chrisians/jews beleiving the world is 6000 yrs old is that they havent taken time to explore historical and scientific facts that support the fact that humans and dinosaurs have lived on earth at the same time. there are historical accounts based on drawings from cultures all over the world which depict dinosaurs in some context, even in england... which can only mean that humans have encountered dinosaurs of different types

This is exactly the problem. You cannot have a sensible debate. Any logic, evidence, proof etc. can just be dismissed immediately by claiming that we cannot comprehend God. Even though the burden of proof is entirely with the person who claims God exists. You cant win.

no point even debating with this guy.he clearly can't structure a well thought out argument.
