'Your' music didnt sound like it does now before Sticky and Dex were making their 4/4 tunes. You didn't originate the sound, you just built a drug fuelled rave scene around it and then banged out a load of cheap knock offs.
lol at that nonsense. The main debate of this topic is about what the genre is, Genre classification isn't your strong point, which I noticed from the day you tried to convince people that Wretch 32 was doing grime when it was blatantly hip hop.

Dexplicit and Sticky didn't make dark 4/4 though and that's who I mentioned. The only thing similar to dark 4/4 in these tunes is the drum kits and that warp bass line which is played on the off beat. They don't have the same atmospheric cinematic sounds that tracks by Wire, Narrows and Shimano had back in 2003.

About nonsense. If you can find me a Bassline tune made before Bullacake that uses those same drums and bassline melody I will give you £50. You won't find one because all of the current producers tiefed up that one finger bouncey bassline style.Every single Bassline tune sounds the same. And they all sound like the bastard child of Dexplicit, Sticky and DJ Wire's off beat bass synth.
'Did It' by Sticky (not entirely sure it's called that off the top of my head but I have it) sounds like something the northerners would call Niche, or Bassline, but would deny it's Garage.

That was just Jaws 4/4 with Lorraine Cato on top of it.

but as we have already established. you dont actually know what niche is. go listen to some mixtapes or go to a rave then when you talk people will listen instead of scrolling past.and logan you just sound pissed that there is something else that's going to accelerate the rate at which the bigwigs at kiss turn off your lights and tell you that you that rinse fm is only down the road.

nonsense once again.your giving Dexplicit waaaay too much credit. Bulllacake has a standard 4x4 drum pattern so what is it so revolutionary about the drums is it that your giving him credit for?http://www.hardtofindrecordsrecordstore.co.../MR171571_1.mp3

I have just listened to the number one selling E.P in this genre and it sounds like music that was getting banged out in Purple E3/Ceasar's 5 years ago with MC Supplier spitting all over it.
