This is one of those fights that I feel would benefit Boxing as a sport much much more if it was shown on Sky Sports or even Sentanta so when I was watching TV last night and see the Sky Box Office advert for £15 - theres me thinking - these motherf*ckers..I can't even remember the last time Box Office hosted a boxing event, if my memory serves me right it was the Tyson/Holyfield days??So thats counts the average joe thats not really interested in boxing, but would of still watched it because of the hype etc etcYou man going to purchase?Hang tight the dodgy DBOX/NTL guys biggrin.gif

Hatton vs. Tyzsu was Sky Box Office I thinkAverage Joe will pay for it, maybe not all but many will and thats all they care about. They dont care about the sport and when you hear the figures these people make off these fights, you will know why they do PPVThey launched PPV and helped to build Sky Sports Xtra (What a sh*t channel, they always showing some skateboarder lifestyle programs) with Boxing, so it works for themThe Calzaghe fight made nuff pee so theres more money in it, plus in a weird way it is better for boxing because some of that money will be re-invested back into the sport and we will get the big US fights and more UK fights which will mean more money given to the boxers and gyms over here that may not have got that money if the budget was tightBut like I have said previously, Boxing will run 2k8. Real sporting heroes that work for their money and do actually win

Some good points thereI still think this may turn off the normal guy who hasn't much interest in the sport but I guess the figures will proove me wrong..Sky seem to be on/off with their boxing choices I.E Calzaghe fights, Hoya/Mayweather but I guess that all comes down to market interests...And damn right 2008 going to be a big year considering 2007 was one of the best everTrinidad V JonesPavlik V TaylorWilliams V Cintron?Klitschko V IbragimovThose are just the fights that are confirmed and its still early..

You mean for the Hattonfight?Its on the 8th December, main events around 7.30PM (US/VEGAS TIME) so thats around 5am here?
the us aint in that infront are they ? ? ?

I pray Hatton batters this c*nt.Mayweather's been disrespecting Hatton to the max.Some people just aint got no respect. I used to be a massive Mayweather fan when he beat Corrales. Now hes just a c*ck.
Mayweather has always been like that, it gives the fight more interest... his ego hypes up the fight differently.
And is Williams-Cintron definently happening? Cos thats another pointless fight. Cintron gonna get his arse handed to him.
Due to Cintrons 'damaged' hand from his fight last week, its been delayed, was meant to go ahead in Feb 2008 but prob would take place a few months later...

Yeah ponce is on the undercard saw him before but it was a shitty fight. And when Mayweather got it on with Judah he was the "good guy".
