No.Robin van P, Adebayor, Theo, Eduardo, Bentdner, Vela next year...All look talented, all need to progress, Anelka will guarantee goals but will clog up there progression, I'm happy with the striking options at Arsenal.Goalkeeper, defence and wing options are will what cost us way before the strikers.

I wouldn't.Reason being it comes like we finally have a Plan B. Someone with aerial ability to win headers, hold up the ball. Plus he IS actually scoring.As clinical as Anelka is, as deadly as he is, we HAVE talent upfront. Its another winger, and goalkeeper i'm concerned with. I'm glad Djourou is back in Jan, coz i'm starting to lose faith in Senderos while Toure is away.

Maybe notWith Drogba gone In Jan they will need a replacement. If their smart they will sell Shev for a cut price & use the cash to buy Anelka. I think Anelka would be a good partner for Drogba when he returns aswell.

Yeah but Anelka has scored seven in a swag Bolton side that has been in the bottom 3 for most of the season, Ade has scored 7 in an Arsenal team flying high top of the league, with the chances Ade has had this year he should be on 14 goals easily!
