You best bet is revising past papers and answering the questions because the same types of questions always come up.Obviously learn your key equations, have them written down on a piece of paper and know how to apply those equations. Like Suvat (laws of motion), have all equations written down and learn them!

What exam are you taking? If its Forces and motion jus learn definitions and memorise/learn how to use the formulas and ure guaranteed a decent pass. Its the easiest paper out of all the a level physics modules... barely a step up from gcse.
yes it is forces and motion i am going insane . in other books i read a chapter go back and do questions to make sure i can do it , but half the answers in this book are typos , as ive shown it to my teacher and he agrees , then if i get it wrong i dont know if i am wrong or the book !your serious you think its barely a step up from gcse ? i thought it would be the hardest out of all my tests, im doing maths , chemistry and biology next week as well and i have found revising for them all easy . . . i got an a in gcse physics from revising purely the day before so i hope what youre saying is true you have instilled faith in me again , i assume uve done it what did you get and were u in a similar position to me ?

Just get a good book for revision. I just had the exam boards revision (OCR Physics 1) had everything I needed. Are you using your exam boards specific revision book to revise?Did chemistry, physics, maths at A2. Got an A in every module of each first time. A levels arent that hard (compared to uni). Even if you fail, by the way the systems currently set up you can just retake it in summer, its not life or death.
