Yeh thats how much I got mine for.. lol@no tramp-oits just me, I hate having to wait for stuff via post...Still, im some order freak with my ipod.... I got everything with all the right track names, year, composer & artwork...looks nice though..
Bluregh.I'm worse. I got them all in a specfic order that if anyone asks I know where it is. Every single track and artist name better be correct. If a song is featuring it can't be like 'Scorcher Featuring Ghetto - Walk With The Metal'. It's gotta be 'Scorcher - Walk With The Metal (Feat. Ghetto)'Exactly like that, brackets, the word 'Feat.' (with the capital F and full stop), the person who is featuring in the title and not in the artist box etc. I'm particular about them things there.

How would you lot label tags for rap groups such as The Diplomats or G-Unit, which contain solo artistsI usually use this method: - The Diplomats feat. Cam'ron, Hell Rell, Juelz Santana

Zoop! Hol tight the pernickety ID3 tag crew. You man know the levels.Like Supreme, them extra spaces are a pisstake make me want to stop what I'm doing plug my ipod in and delete that extra space. Can't have double artists in my artist search list.On the producer thing that's a no no, like Supreme said you won't have the info for every single album, mixtape etc. and also the square bracket there makes it look messy so that's just not allowed.The rap groups thing... doesn't make sense to me. Though they may release as solo artists as well, if that has been released as a Diplomats mixtape I think putting 'Feat. Cam'ron, Hell Rell & Juelz Santana' etc. makes no sense cos they are The Diplomats. If it's a Cam'ron album like Killa Season then the artist gets labelled as Cam'ron and everyone else featuring goes in the title box in brackets after the tune name.This should be some cult. Messy iPod's really vex me up.

WTF! You man are just like me. Everything has to be listed perfectly, from the year to the genre. I also manually add all my artwork, everything has to be perfect. If there's a track that features other musicians I have to do it like Devlin - Dealers feat. Ghetto, Wretch 32 & Scorcher. The featuring artists have to be listed in order of appearance in the song.

See I'm doing that but theres bare missing artworks that I need, which is really pissing me off. How are you putting all your artwork on?Crack: when you mean a period where ID3 tags were pointlessly long, like in what way? You'd name them in a specfic manner?All my music I require group rips with the crc's nfo's etc or something happens to me, bugs the sh*t outta me without it, I think I'm a tad bit weird?
I used to have bitrate folders like "V2", "V0", "320" and "FLAC".V2 for the first listen, V0 if it's decent but a keeper, 320 for the iPod and FLAC for my favourite albums.Then inside that I used to have them named "Artist - Year/Album" then "Artist - Track number/ Track name"Then all the art with .cue, .m3u, .nfo and .log's.I then realised it was all foolishly long. Plus I used to waste all my ratio's downloading 1 album in 3 bitrates.I am quality freak still though. I'm way too particular with videos.I'm still a bit like it I spose. It's why I miss OiNK so much, I was full of OCD freaks; it meant I had to do less 'cause someone else had slaved off doing it.The only f*cked bit with ID3 tagging is the Genre 'cause most things are multi genre.

ive got a mac n theres a album art work widget.That is what i use saves me nuff time, dunno if u can use it on a PC.

I got a nano couple days back because i thought my classic was too big....anyway i charged it for like an hour and a bit. Fully charged, but it said charge for 3 hours. Now im wondering if i should have charged it for three hours because the battery is depleting at quiet a rate...or this is probably due to the settings of the EQ etc. Thoughts people?

is it the new nano?if yeh the battery life is about 24hrs,if u think is not lasting anywhere near dat then pop into applethe best way to treat the battery is let is completly drain out then recharge it for couple hours.

f*ck that invest in an adaptor.....only plus is if your bredrins followin you behind in a next car he can enjoy your tunes aswell lol...on a level piss poor quality but will do if your on a budget an dont have a decent car stereo etc

*SPUDS*All this sh*t you man are talking about is NORMAL for me. I'm proper particular about this. How do you man label Grime/Old Skool/Funky House sets?*Clicks 'My Music' and looks at perfectly arranged albums and mixtapes**Clocks one album has no artwork, gets mwad*

it depends on if im bothered or noti tried doing wu tang forever like that but got so pissed off half way through and ended up just leaving it as the titleevery track is like a allstarbut usually i name tracks like thisMethod man - Message From Penny (Skit)(Ft Janet Jackson)it's not about having some f'd up library

how the f*ck apple bringin out nano 8gb for £130 and then a 80gb classic for£169??any one who buys a ipod nano/touch is a dougnut straight up!!

Thats why I bought one for jogging and when I go gym or whatever.Still I need more space for music and movies, so i copped the 80GB one today with Senheisser headphones. Haven't opened it yet. biggrin.gif Just a couple more questions for ID3 TAG GANG :D 1. How do you differentiate between the genres. e.g. an artist like mariah carey makes pop songs as well as rnb ones, would you label the song genres individually or would you just label the whole album pop or whatever.2. On certain mixtapes/albums there would usually be a solo freestyle or sumthin NOT involving the artist who made the album, would you still add for example Jay-Z feat. even though he doesn't appear on the track. 3. Do you split normal rnb songs and rnb slow jams into seperate genres. for example (rnb being labelled as Rnb and rnb slow jams being labelled as rnb soul)4. How do label collaboration albums. (e.g. r.kelly & jay-z - unfinished business album). Would you label them as a single artist or seperate artist.
