Nope.As you said, peopel can go back and retract comments etc.It doesnt dissapear for a while though, ample time to correct anything..

i reckon the delete post button should be brought back, incase of double post/posts that yu want to retract. atleast for a set amount of time like the edit buttons thanks admin.

Unfortunately, as with any text based conversation, people sometimes say things and then want to go back and erase all record of it when they are proven to be wrong. This kind of behavior greatly disrupts the conversation and really serves no purpose other than patching up the person's pride. In the real world, when you speak, you don't get to erase all memory of your words. If people thought before typing and submitting, there would be far fewer issues. If you want exact timing, then its 15 mins...
