Milan's manager Ancelloti nicely summed it up for italian newspapers: "The (Arsenal) midfield hurt us, really hurt us. They controlled, kept Pirlo out the game. Fabregas and Flamini were absolute giants. Hleb was phenomenal. Arsenal were precise and effective, just as we knew they would be. We did our best, we played to our maximum."
The world needs to recognise!!!!

If there has been a better performance by a visiting team at the San Siro, it must have been some match. If there has been a better individual display than that by Cesc Fàbregas, it must have been the work of some player. This was the night when youth and beauty beat age, guile and experience, and it was a joy to watch.Even the locals stood to acknowledge Arsenal before the end. Spontaneous bursts of applause greeting another round of fleet-footed passing, as Arsène Wenger’s young team steered the match gently to its resting place, safely beyond AC Milan’s reach. They picked the right time to score, too, after 84 minutes, when Milan then required two goals in six minutes to progress, and rounded it off with a second in the final seconds to post a scoreline that properly reflected their supremacy on the night. This was the Arsenal we have been waiting for, and the masterclass from Fàbregas, too. Recent blips in domestic matches have coincided with a downturn in form from the player who had defined Arsenal’s start to the season. In that time his ability to sustain influence on the campaign had been called into question, as had his preparedness for the long haul and his appetite for the fight. And this was always going to be a fight.Delightfully, Fàbregas was up for it and entered the fray with fire in his belly and a score to settle. More than that, he arrived with the quickest mind, the sharpest intellect and the most mesmerising array of skills on the pitch. But most significantly, he returned with a hunger that took him beyond all competitors — even Kaká, the World Footballer of the Year — and scored a goal fit to win any match.

Well there was crime in Milan as well.Flamini was done for kidnapping. He held both Kaka and Gattuso hostage in his back pocket for 90 mins.Wenger was also charged for possession of a deadly weapon. Apparently he travelled to Italy with a Fabregas. The rest of the team was done for gross indecency. Sex in public is frowned upon in Italy, and we shagged the life out of Milan in front of 80,000 tonight.

"We only have a small squad and have had lots of injuries," he said. "However, now we have important players coming back, like Robin [van Persie] and maybe next week Tomas [Rosicky] and Kolo Toure. So it is all positive.
Looks like Rosicky is almost back too which is good if he can get a good run of games now.

Fabregas still beaming after win in Milan

Midfielder Francesc Fabregas was still beaming today, and reflected on a historic night in the Gunners' history.Arsenal beat Italian giants AC Milan 2-0 and became the first team to beat them on home soil. But the Spanish international was already looking forward to the match against Wigan this Sunday, when Arsenal are hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table.Fabregas said: "We have to be very proud of what we have done."We went over to our fans, and you could also see some of the Milan fans clapping. You could see they like this kind of football and that we played well. They had a lot of respect for us."The Milan players too, they all said: 'well done, we hope you win it now'."Afterwards, when you look back on your career, these are the nights you are going to remember."Other teams know if they let us play, we can be very dangerous."They close us down and defend, we have to try not to make mistakes and just play our own football.""The spirit of the team is amazing, and we have to keep going."Now, though, we just have to be focused on Sunday's game - we have to go to Wigan and win there."
