If your looking for hype.. then dont bother coming. Its like an education into house music... i can tell you now, no djs will be playing any crossover grime/house tunes that are poorly produced.Dress code is anything you want.. no tracksuits

Don't get it twisted, I don't mind the mellow stuff... but I'm trying to celebrate my birthday here, so would like to be able to go out and shake a leg, not buy a drink and chill by the side, so if that's the kind of vibe it is then yeah maybe I wont bother. However what do you consider Perempay's selection as? because I mainly enjoy listening to his sets and I notice he's on the roster for a lot of your functions too.p.s. I'm above the age of 25, I do not listen to grime. :D

P technically is a great dj.. i feel becaause he has gone through garage to grime to house has progressed and learnt he's trade. The stuff he plays is very simular to the man dem.. he's one of them new djs i actually am starting to take a fancy to and will be using a lot in the later part of this year.Same with Scholar T, he's another thats done he's education and starting to understand that certain events you have to give the people dem proper house to listen rather then this harry come fly by grime sh*t everyone is passing off as uk house...for the record, the weekly yellows are not held at Temple rooms but in brixton.they are bar based, so i wouldnt advise anyone to go there for a birthday if they are looking to shock out and go wild in the club.. its more of a edcuation thing with the music.. so doesnt get to hype.. loads of side stepping lol

Not cross over grime so called f*cky house tunes..or tunes these guys keep over remixing using the same sounds over and over again..there is more to house then trying to find a afro beat and using the same skelton for tunes over and over again..influences in houise are extensive.. theres loads to influence the man them, but all the kids are doing is re rinsing grime sounds and passing it off as house, its not house.if you gonna produce then do so properly

Funky house that mans like marcus nasty etc etc play is swag.I remember when tunes like detroit and yeah yeah were considered funky house, then these people got over excited about cure and the cause and claimed that is funky house, which spawned this afro beat rubbish.Oi tipper, when my colection of electro becomes greater, holla at me, I'll dj at your electro raves for £10 petrol money

i dont think you can blame the djs.. its easy throwing djs names about but its not about that.. producers have to up there game, and try to be different.. thats what djs, ravers and fans love.. the difference.. the same ol gets boring...i aint got a problem with djs.. but those sort of tunes i wont support, and niether will any of my events.ask any dj that has played for me... ive warned all of them.. any sh*t played and your off the decks sharpish.. rago.. i dont give a f*ck

I agree with you, as I've said I enjoy all forms of house.I think there is room for both side-by-side.The trouble with UK street music is that the grimier side of whichever genre it is, usually takes over. House is so big and worldwide that I don't see it being a probelm for this harry come fly grime stuff to be there also.
