Might be an idea if we post up some of the best free VST's we have found to save people time and effort looking for decent ones.Not sure what the rules are on upping bought / downloaded ones so will keep them free untilwe know.First is Helix from http://www.audjoo.comOne of the best free VST's I have found.

The stings from http://www.dskmusic.com are tidy. Actually all their VST's are decent.http://www.vstplanet.com/Instruments/VST_Piano.htm EVM Grand Piano at the top of the list gives a crisp sound.

If you are using fruity.Put the .dll file and anything else like a dat file that might come with it in a folder if it already isnt.Then copy the folder.Open Fruity and got to Open. Then move up a couple of levels until you see a plugins folder.Then double click on the VST folder and paste your new folder in there.Then go to Channels at the top >> Add One >> More... Then Refresh >>> Fast Scan.It should then come up with X amount of new plugins found and it should be in the list in red.Then highlight the little box to the left of the red text.From then it should be in your Channels >> Add One list.
