carpedeum
there is no such thing as toning up, its an over used, misleading word.you want to lose fat and build muscle simple. or you just want to lose fat so that whtever muscle you have can be visible. do high intensity cardio, 2x a week, and low intensity (45min jog, bike, row) cardio once or twice a week.start lifting weights, low reps, heavy weights 2-3x a week. this is aptly called weight lifting, not toning up!improve your diet to eat less more often and increase your protein and reduce carb foods, and cut out sugars and drink lots of water.check the other threads for routines. L
You have to have muscle mass to look defined..Otherwise you'll just be skinny

A Bit Better
Do you guys not think you're being over sensitive? Does it actually matter if someone calls it toning when that's not exactly what it is? Everybody knows what they mean and this isn't a bodybuilding forum. Everybody knows what they mean and this isn't a bodybuilding forum.toned isn't a correct term tho, it doesn't accurately describe the end result so it's a case of educating ppl about the correct terms and expelling myths about getting definition and fat loss/muscle gain
