Utah has agreed to trade All-Star point guard Deron Williams to Nets in multi-player package, Yahoo! Sports has learned. Deal is done.

Favors will go to Jazz with Harris, two first-round picks. Nets wlll send Troy Murphy to Golden State, and Warriors send Gadzuric to Nets.

WTFF.

So the Jazz fire Jerry Sloan over fallouts with Deron Williams, and then immediately trade Williams to NJ  Al Jefferson is PISSED

Prokhorov gamed the Knicks like a monopoly set, made them look idiotic over Melo, had them gut their roster, and then got a better player for less out of nowhere

Now, Respol, Flojo... go to the game.

Why after a decade of shittiness does the East have to suddenly become stacked in the same season as the Bulls resurgence

edit- lol, here goes:

@tribjazz Jazz's Williams is not happy with trade.

@Lockedonsports: Deron Williams told me it was not his choice. He's stunned. Declined interview until he figures out what it all means

Westbrook & Durant defo look like a future championship tandem. Green is a great player too, but his and Durant's skillsets overlap, and in OKC he's needed out of position as an undersized 4, they're not getting the best out of him

Perkins is a low post anchor, one of the best defensive centres in the league.. from he can guard Howard in single coverage, he can defend any big in the West in the playoffs. OKC added another veteran C in Nazr Mohammed as well. Perk, Ibaka and Nazr is a formidable frontline. Nobody will abuse them by driving the lane any more. Thunder are more threatening now, looking like a much better matchup with the Lakers, Dallas, Spurs

I really don't know why Boston gave away their Dwight stopper. Krstic is a legit 7 foot but is nowhere near the inside force that Perkins is. They're betting the house that Shaq and Jermaine will be fit.. and traded away their two other young big guys (Harangody & Erden) for a second round pick. I don't understand what they're doing, seems like they just made it a lot harder for themselves to get out of the East.

And the Clippers traded Baron Davis to Cleveland. No more Baron to Blake alley oops. Sterling

So they break up the championship team now (and maybe closed the window on this Celtics project) coz they don't want to extend Perkins at fair money next year?

No wonder they are fuming. Celtics lost Game 7 last year because they lost the rebound battle. So they assemble a uniquely fearsome frontcourt, and now regress and shed it again

Last year: unfit Garnett, Perkins, Big Baby, Rasheed, Shelden

This year: Garnett, Perkins, Big Baby, Shaq, Jermaine, Erden :o

Now: Garnett, Krstic, Big Baby, Shaq, Jermaine (crock)

They are probably worse off now tbh, Shaq & Krstic are not Perkins & Sheed. I don't see how they beat Orlando, or the Lakers

lmao bosh spice is unreal  When I saw the box score I thought it was a typo  FIVE PERCENT shooting. Can't believe I wanted Chicago to sign this guy last summer. Even the flopping is half hearted and lame. Grabbin Bulls-Heat off torrents, gonna watch it later

edit: match was sick, it was like a playoff game. Rose adds another big page to his MVP dossier. Bulls defense was lax in the first half, gave up too much in transition, but regrouped and went on a 3rd quarter run. Rose & Deng came through in the clutch to close it out.

Bosh was anonymous apart from couple FTs and the flop. I watched the game partly to lol at his 1-for-18 performance but essentially forgot that he was playing. The brief shot of RL Josh Lyman (Rahm Emanuel) being in attendance was more memorable.

The extent Miami rely on James and Wade is enormous, there was a 22-minute stretch in the middle of the game where no other Heat player scored.

It would be a tough series, they are a bit of a wild card for the Bulls. That was just a 2nd half loss of focus though, despite Hawks celebrating like they'd won a playoff series. Climbed into a big lead 1st half but just stumbled in the 2nd, defensive lapses, bad shooting, Al Horford had a career game. When Boozer started getting doubled with Horford his shot stopped falling. and Rose had a poor night for the first time in living memory.

Not seriously worried about a first round exit though. Hawks play like kittens in the playoffs, last year they needed a Game 7 to beat a Bogut-less Milwaukee and then got brutalised 4-0 by Orlando, and it's basically the same team (except for Bibby/Hinrich trade)
