Skola
the android one i think u mean deszire Z head it looks nice as does the desire HD saying that, ive been reading dual-core phones dropping end of this year / early next year - people expect a huge advance in processing power (eg dual core up to 1.5ghz processors when the fastest right now are single core 1gz) been contemplating an upgrade for a few months now but im gonna be patient and when the new "superphones" drop fork out for something powerful (w/ 24 month contract) that wont be struggling to keep up in 12-18months time when its getting oldish

My HTC Hero has served me well I must say. Will hold out for the above tbh. done a lot of googling when bored at work after seeing mention of "dual core htc handset" on some tech website. lots of speculation and little fact. some facts: http://www.slashgear.com/1-2ghz-qualcomm-snapdragon-with-hspa-launched-0187694/ - qualcomm whose mobile chips power lots of current high end smartphones release dual core chips in january this year http://www.slashgear.com/htc-glacier-dual-core-android-phone-benchmarks-spotted-is-this-t-mobiles-project-emerald-0496462/ - leaked benchmark stats show an unknown htc device, tested by a tmobile employee, which outperforms the current 1ghz single core mobile phones - this fits in with rumours about various HTC handsets people are excited about. also, a quick google search of "dual core smartphone" ( http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=dual+core+smartphone&meta= ) brings back news of lots of announcements from different manufacturers about dual core phones. personally i will hold out for a new HTC device coz they are the sh*t IMO (im still rockin the G1). "Qualcomm has said that the first devices to use the updated chips could be on the market before the year is out." even if its early next year, considering I'll be locked into an 18/24 month contract im happy to wait another 4 months.
