i like sky for the randomness i would never watch on the internet though

like NDTV ..indian tv..and im there listening intently to their political local discussions until i think to myself...WTF??

same goes for chinese tv, and bangra tv. see some nigerian shows as well.. them WTF am i doing moments.

There are pure channels on Sky that you dont even know is there

the random stuff i watch on TV i would Never watch for more than 5 mins on the internet

i can read about things happening in the world in much shorter time than watching tv

there are so many random programs on TV that COULD get me watching them that i wouldnt on the net

like if an episode of the Xfiles came on tv, and i had nothing to do, i would probably watch it.

while i wouldnt go out of my way and look for the same ep or any for that matter of the x files on the internet, even if i had nothing else better to do with my time.
