You'll never get headphones that work well with iPod and other portable devices. They don't have the power to drive out the bass. If you're looking to use the headphones with your PC where your sound card/hi fi can handle it then buy some but otherwise I'd strongly recommend in-ear phones. CX300 or CX500 will do nicely.I bought some Sennheiser HD 201's off Amazon for £9.99 when the deal was on last week. Great for gaming with, if you want a cheap alternative try that out.
