Alright so this happened quite a while ago but still with another topic on the board I am reminded of it.An Indian mate of mine who has been a vegetarian from birth try tell me that quorn tastes exactly like chicken, I disagree and point out that he has never had chicken and how the f*ck would he know. How can people compare quorn and chicken? They taste nothing alike, not even texture wise.Do any of you guys get the whole "vegetarianism is good" sh*t from people you know.

My mum was vegetarian for a good few years so I had the opportunities to try all of the quorn range and the Linda McCartney range and I got to say the flavour is boog.Only thing that came close to mimicking a meat product were the Linda McCartney "meat" pies.

i'm a veggie from birth, but of course there have been times where i've been curious and have tried chicken, bacon, turkey, pork etc, just to see what the fuss was all about (i was very guilty after i ate these animals don't get me wrong) your indian mate was probably curious like me, and has probably tried meat before, so that's how he knows that quorn tastes like chicken

He has never eaten meat before in his life though he admits he has been tempted. He bases his opinions on what other people have said about the comparison between Quorn and Chicken.

Eating meat is a natural thing, we humans are designed to do so.I can understand not eating a particular animal because of religious commandments but not eating meat at all, f*ck that sh*t!

YES BUT HARRY IT IS CRUEL TO EAT ANIMALS SEEING AS THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BE EATEN. AND WE NEED TO RESPECT THIER RIGHTS AS FELLOW ANIMALS.EVEN THOUGH MOST ANIMAL EAT EACH OTHER ANY WAY, AND IF A HUNGRY LION CAM YOU IN A FIELD HE WOULDN'Y GIVE HALF A MONKEYS HAIR ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AS A LIVING CREATURE.BUT APART FROM THAT WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU CUZ WE'RE KIND TO NATURE N sh*t.

i bet if you all had to kill a f*cking chicken or a pig with your bare hands, seeing it squirm and squealling in pain, then chopping up the carcass in little bits, ready to fry up in margarine, you wouldn't eat it.i don't give a sh*t if i sound like a p*ssy at least i have a heart and karma's gonna bite y'all on the arse

lmao at thinking they still use thier bare hand to kill pigs haha.they shock them so they go into a sort of comatose state, then they bleed them painlessly.at least i have a heart? you mean you dont have the correct mindset to be a natural human who eats meat like everything else.your not a good person, you're freak of nature.
