come on. There is such a thing as luck sometimes. The ordinary roobs who held onto their property through the crash in 90s are pretty lucky.

Nope, ask any any good investor. You study the market, when prices are low, thats when you buy.Obviously some ppl didn't have a clue it would turn out like it did but I don't put it to luck more to it was a uneducated investment which did well. They was alot of factors but they would have been other issues why they kept it i.e unable to sell for whatever reason, they were tied in etc

but this is what i'm taking about. You would of had the knowledgeable investors who bought up propertys, then there were the ordinary guys tied in their homes who couldn't sell. These ordinary guys are the ones that were "lucky". They made no intelligent moves. They were stuck in that position not out of choice. Given the choice they would of sold their homes. They ended up lucky that their homes are worth a sh*t load now.

you dont have to be donald trump to invest in property. a 20yr old who makes an effort to understand property devt and investment is not a seasoned investor. the ones you claim flopped are the ones who just made use of low interest rates, and the fact they choudl get credit and getting advice from their banker (who probably has no real experience in property devt)reading before an exam doesnt mean you're a lucky guy does it. perhaps where the luck comes in is just being at the right place at the right time. sometimes the opportunity may just arise that would make a good investment property wise.

Exactly CarpeWhat ppl say is luck, to many others & me it just means RIGHT MARKET, RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PLACE = Opportunity. What ppl fail to do including myself sometimes is recognising when a oportunity arises. In time I'll clock every opportunity or someone working for me will.

Nah man, I'm far from baiding yet besides money isn't real. It just gives you choice. The more you have the more choices you have. When your ready fam but ask yourself what you want first & be specific.

i see luck as being prepared when faced with an opportunity. unless im playing the lottery
True.Generally in business Hard work + Opportunity = LuckThe luck you talk of Revs you cant really factor into business, I know what you mean but thats that haley's comet luck.
lol yeah i guess we have different definitions. Especially with my creative train of thought i always define it as the latter.
