They made no intelligent moves. They were stuck in that position not out of choice. Given the choice they would of sold their homes. They ended up lucky that their homes are worth a sh*t load now. Carpe_Deum Posted July 27, 2007 Report Share Posted July 27, 2007 you dont have to be donald trump to invest in property. a 20yr old who makes an effort to understand property devt and investment is not a seasoned investor. the ones you claim flopped are the ones who just made use of low interest rates, and the fact they choudl get credit and getting advice from their banker (who probably has no real experience in property devt)reading before an exam doesnt mean you're a lucky guy does it. perhaps where the luck comes in is just being at the right place at the right time. sometimes the opportunity may just arise that would make a good investment property wise.
