I choose not to enhance the votes of people who will try control me.

But in a sense you are controlled in everything you do by means of the law.By not voting you are allowing parties to take control of Government that might control you on a worser degree.

The law is there and can be broken. Therefore they arent fully in control of me.The country is going to be controlled more then it is now , no matter who is in the driving seat.

But they can send you to prison. That is control.

I am not dumb enough to do what they want me to do.As for control , obviously i am going to be controlled to an extent.But as i said , I am not gonna vote for anyone.Voting for people who will then try and take my freedom from me = Not a good look.

but if someone comes into power and takes your freedomyou have no right to complain coz u didnt vote

Yeah ash calling a early general election is personal gain for gordan brown (one man) I reckon gordan knew he will be the new leader so he held it down on certain things I will be just happy to see new labour to go back to more left policies because tony blairs new labour was a bait conservative undercover man was good freinds with george bush who is the usa equivlent of conservtive

I know nothing about politics, all I know is Labour party is in power, Gordon Brown is Prime Minister, Tony Blair was Prime Minister, and Ken Livingstone is Mayor of London.But it's not important as I can't vote 'till I'm 18...........right?As far as I know, I support Labour, but have not read into it enough to make a proper choice.

Yes correct however it is good to know about history and what certain parties represent and who lives up to there promises.Just because you are bellow voting age I wouldn't turn a blind eye to politics.As sad as it sounds when you reach a certain age politics become all around you.

I read the first sentence and I had to stop reading.Since when was I a closet racist? I have always been open about my thoughts unlike others.You notice the difference between fat and skinny people, you would orally abuse fat or skinny people like people here call me ugly. what makes it different calling someone a derogative word wether it is to do with race or looks or whatever? you would not think double standards were involved within derogative slurs but they are involved in everything.I come on these forums and I spot the double standards in everything and anything so I oppose a different and opposite view to narrow minded people and they become stuck. All they can do is call me a racist when in respect all I have done is responded in an opposite view.

Thing about threads like this is, they start off alright, but then some idiot has to start talking about racist or unacceptable views. Now, since Ashman is usually the first one to launch said views, people have no respect for his threads because they think that he will do exactly that. Ashman is his own worst enemy on these forums.
