With Black History Month drawing to a close I thought I'd do a thread on something that confuses me greatly. Most of the people around me, that either I know, know of or see around are not what people describe as your average Black, so to me they are really what the average Black isTell me what "your average Black..." is in your opinion? Give me suggestions as to what one is, if you are one and/or how (from how I see it) the negative Black stereotype became your average Black person?Keep it clean, non-derogatory and most of all dont turn it into a Yardie vs Affs threadOther races input is welcomed also, 'cause I wanna know what you guys/gals think, espec. those of you in the sticks.Mods if you can delete stupid/outragous posts that look like they will provoke a reaction, thanks

Im from the sticks : Average black = Deals drugs. Wears trousers around their ankles. Listens to rap. Smokes weed. Hates doing work and never has a job. No life ambitions. Mugs people for fun. Cannot go out without at least three other people around them. Always carries a gun and loves to shoot people. Spends 2/3rds of their life in prison. Has no qualifications. Hates the police. Spends all their money on weed or clothes. Has a tag name.

Fair enough, but where i dont hear anyone really refer to IQ when talking about peoples mind's and inteligence i was wondering where that came from. IQ is kinda of dated, if you get what im tryna say, similar 2 someone calling someone half caste, not the ame but you get where im coming from.Teachers i would have though would have said that black boys are more disruptive, not neccessaryily have low IQ, because when we want to shine we do. The studies on instiitutionalised racism are not COMMON, only certian people have access and read them, so it would not be an average thing to be commenting on. Your aveage white person isnt gonna have a view that the average black boy has low IQ.
