Carpe_Deum Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 am i late? was gonna get some sony mini laptop for about 1k..then i saw a friend with this lappy today similar to the one i wanted to get, and i thought it was a sony or an apple, then he said he got it for $240.some asus mini laptop, which was supposedly originally meant for kids, but it seems everyone wants one now.im think im gonna get one myself this weekend, it uses flash memory 4,8, or 16gig, and runs on linux, so no windows but it still has everything you need. Carpe_Deum Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 no u cant install windows on it, you cant upgrade the memory, and its probably not worth the hassle anywayswindows has so much sh*t built in, it will just affect the performance for something meant to run on linux.for students, and workers its cool, i might wait a bit cos asus have seen the huge demand, this one's batt life is 2.5 hrs, but for flights its bliss. already have a laptop anyways..but it looked shesxyit weighs nothing too, i swear the N91 weighs more!
