I know a girl that lied that she was pregnant-its 2008 and I still ain't seen this baby. Problems always manifest themselves in different forms, it doesnt have to be lying.As I said.If you were raped when you were young, you may feel that somehow because you failed to stop it happening it is your fault.Because of this you may lie to overcompensate for the fact that you feel you are a failure, i.e. saying loads of boys want to chirpse you, lying about things you possess/do etc.Conversely this may have happened and it was swept under the rug/ignored, and you feel you never get the sympathy you deserved (everyone feels sorry for themselves sometimes) So as a rsult of that when you are older you CREATE stories to get sympathy for something you previously should have gotten it for.You may lie about how much money you have to compensate for the fact you were CURSED with a small penis.You may lie about how many girls you get because you were always bullied abut your looks or something like that-so once again its overcompensating.Dont evr think you know evrything about someone. We never know the pain people don't speak of...Also I tink youll notice then peoples lies often stems from their perception/view of life/what they want to aspire to.For insntace, someone idiolises the playboy type lifestyle, will lie about being a gallace etc..Someone who sucks scarface' d*ck will lie about shotting n sh*t...But I guess that bit is obvious.
