im basically with spidermanhas a strong ambient garage vibewill this be the new bandwagon, dubstep producers makin garage?
naah cos its links to dubstep are very small, even the tempos are well varied, only a few can match dubstep.burial is an experimentalist anyways, so he is doin he own thing, doubt anybody in dubstep would cat it. also there are bare experimentalists out there anyways.i herd his nex album is gona had techno/electro influences, dunno if its true.id like to see some hardcore sampling, i think burial could do a lot by experimenting with that sound, plus gain a big audience at the same time..cos at the end of it bein experimental like that is all about gettin a bigger and bigger audience, having a sound ppl from all genres can appreciate.

garage should improve now then.cuz at the mo it is slacking compared to the levels of production on dubstep
naa garage dont deserve any help from dubstep producers, altho dubstep has influences straining back to it.IMO burials 2step influences were jus that, influences, and not a bridge into garage...if i could break into numbers id say untrue is like 30% garage, 30% ambient, and 40% experimental, cos it really sounds uniquethe 2 step sounds like the old skool stuff, and nuffin of the new sort.IMO garage's future lies wid bassline/4x4/niche wot eva u wanna call it. thats all good but dubstep production levels are WAAAAAY higher than bassline, so from a musical point of view i appreciate it more than 4x4, even if 4x4 has more commercial appeal.

no way, who remember 'raggage' basically dubstep with a 2 step beat, all that stuff El-B was making in early 2000 is dubstep without the halfstep beat, and about 10bpm slower.

ok, obviously ders exceptions.but the point was, dubstep producers aint gna all of a sudden alter their style to be more garage like just cos burial had success with it. everyone does their own thing init.ppl try diss rusko cos he has sum mad sounds, but its wot makes him unique.

i like rusko, i think he got sum nice beats, and ur right, ppl r too busy doing their own thing in dubstep - one reason why it sounds so fresh at the mo.EDIT: apart from when ppl rely on a 'wub' to make their track
ye. its so sick cos its sounding really diverse and fresh at the moment.on that note, who has Rusko - betamax?
