It is the right size and shape for it to not look unfitted.E.g a Beenie hat is fitted, a cowboy hat is not. Buy your correct size. If you buy too small it will be too tight. If you buy too big it will be baggy in places it is supposed to be 'fitted'.I don't really know how to describe something so obvious in any other way, but I hope this helps.
