spiderman Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 ye i got that when it dropped. very sick compilation of dubs to put out. with this and the hench mixtape it feels like dubstep is starting to get more accessable and more music will actually be released. its good for those who dont hear the dubplates at raves or radio and for those who find there isnt enough music that they can get generally. although its not so good for those who follow the rave scene cos it means less dubs and exclusives. that whole dubplate culture is what keeps it fresh imo, the exclusivity and mystery in the music. spiderman Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 ye that mix was proper sick but definately felt like he had to leave out a lot of classic material simply because of the lack of time. i reckon they should do it in 2 parts, 2 hours each. / as for mala, he is at the tate 2mw to give a speach or a lecture or something. its about how a piece of art inspired him, its some kind of big day with many other speakers. apparently (according to my source) he is gonna give out some promo copies of the forthcoming LP there. i would go just for that but im quite busy 2mw. you gotta get down there for 11am to gurantee entry and i dont think he is gonna speak until the afternoon so it seems a bit long tbh.
