Was listening to some old cd's the other day and I must say, levels have risen in riddims as far as consistency, for sure. The highs arent as high but there is more variety. You can have a fresh riddim like The Mission (Im On The Rock) to a HH-Dancehall hybrid in Dark Again (Send Fi Me Army) and old skool yet up-to-di-time sounding Gear Box (Click Mi Finger) playing side-by-side. In the 90s you never got that let alone in the space of 6 months.Cant be bothered to start naming anything now thoBRB gonna find one thread with bare sick riddims named
