If you know anyone that speaks french just get them to teach you.Easiest way is to start off with what you know (if anything) and then slip back into english.Like for example 'Bonjour I forgot my wallet, help me locate it'That way your friend can translate it for yo uand teh you say it.tahts how I learn anyway.

yep its true it works, spend couple months in that country and you'll be speaking it.

whats the science behind it. when you're young your mind can learn multiple languages because we inherently understand rules of grammar and syntax and we develop vocab at a faster rate, but all that sh*t crashes and burns after age 7.

Truth.Stayed in Belgium for 3-4 months and I could speak it fluently.

it doesnt crash and burn u retain that ability but ur just slower 2 adapt. however an adult can probably learn in the same time as a child cos a adult has better common sense general knowledge and intuition.

crash and burn was the wrong word but you dont have that same level of ability, an adult can never learn a language quicker than a child because a child doesnt need to comprehend the theory and grammar rules, it just does, adults don't.
