Fake American accents

Why do people put on them fake accents and it's usually older dudes too like 25-30 in da bait endz like Kilburn and Camden saying they originally from Compton or Brooklyn da bait hoods in America always the same places they mention

Did any of them used to play basketball?I know back when all I did was play ball bare of my friends come from the states so the twang just worked its way into my voice, glad its gone now but if they hang around Americans then its bound to happen, its not on purpose ts just adapting

Yeh ya have ya Rappers from there and the movies and documentrys but i guess Compton is parellel with blk American Hood culture in the U.S. so everyone knows about it people think of Harlem too in the same sense but i think Compton is way more violant but like i said i never been
