chipped sky box

is it easy to get one of these to work? i've gotta start paying for broadband and TV instead of paying board so want to know if theres any good deals about. basic sky package is £17 a month reckon i can get a hot box for about £150 so its all live.

There aren't chipped sky boxes. There are chipped Telewest boxes which is what I have and they are worth the money if you want all the channels ours was only £100.

What he said ^^^Basically get the cheapest virgin package then buy the chipped box and use that instead of the Virgin box. Simple really. Except you're gona be hard pushed to get a new Virgin box which is chipped we've got one of them old Telewest boxes.

ah soz i get what yur sayin now. sh*t might have to get slow broadband and try and get just 1 sky sport channel. its f*ck*ng 51 a month for fast broadband and all sports station.

We've got net, phone and virgin for £30 a month but realistically get the biggest package available known to man for the same price and a one off payment of £100. Plus there's a On Demand Service with Virgin now so you can basically watch back any programme you want.
