missBee Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 You dont need to wash chicken.. any bacteria that shouldnt be theres dies during cooking, ur just removing flavour from the skin.You are not losing any flavour as long as you don't boil it when you are washing it.You wash it to remove the hairs & there is usually like proper dirt you can see on it which i'm sure even if boiled you really wouldn't want to eat it still or even see it on your chicken & i really wouldn't like to think about how some people handle the meat at the butchers & there is no way it is going in the oven unwashed.
