You dont need to wash chicken.. any bacteria that shouldnt be theres dies during cooking, ur just removing flavour from the skin.
You are not losing any flavour as long as you don't boil it when you are washing it.You wash it to remove the hairs & there is usually like proper dirt you can see on it which i'm sure even if boiled you really wouldn't want to eat it still or even see it on your chicken & i really wouldn't like to think about how some people handle the meat at the butchers & there is no way it is going in the oven unwashed. Just feels dirty to me..

Here we go again
Frank I've seen those programmes where bossman and bosswoman are working below the minimum wage and are 'processing' my chicken before it gets packed and sent to the shop.I'll play safe and give mine a lil rinse if that's cool.NO SUNSHINE what are you on about? I think you need to lighten up friend.

at the end of the day ur eating a dead farmyard animal dirt and hair is all part of the package. Ill stick to eating mine natural.
Same here, never had any problems before. Something about rinsing meat under a tap seems odd to me.
You sound like those people that don't bathe because they feel they are going to sweat again anyways..No offence it's just the picture that came into my head when you said that..
