My complaints letter

All day saturday spent cotched at my yard unable to leave cos of a delivery that was coming. Then they call me in the evening to say they aint comin.ULTRA PARHad to email them and tell them whats what.Heres what I sent them:

I got a call at 4pm today letting me know that I wouldnt be recieving my delivery. I can appreciate that you may have had problems and that there are difficulties, but you have charged me £25 for delivery and not been able to justify the charge as you failed in the service. That Ive wasted a saturday just sat at home suggests that there should at least be some kind of compensation. Im not asking for free delivery because you still have to deliver the item but a "Sorry for any inconvenience caused" does not cover the days pay from work Ive missed. The call I recieved went on to tell me that I cant recieve delivery til next saturday. I mentioned that this monday or tuesday works for me but Im working next saturday and Im not gonna miss another day at work waiting on a delivery you cant (As has been shown today) be sure of making. I can appreciate even that I did make you wait for payment, but you did recieve it when I said you would. So heres my 2 suggestions:You deliver monday or tuesday and take full delivery charge or You deliver saturday but half the delivery charge I think thats fair based on the inconvenience caused.
This whole time Im thinking I should have been more forceful but then they sent me this:
As you can appreciate, the weather conditions lately haven't exactly been great. We have had to postpone several deliveries because of this. The journeys have been delayed hence some deliveries have had to be rearranged. Plus with the drivers arranging their own routes and times, i have little control over this. I apologise for the short notice given to cancel your delivery and all the inconvenience caused. We will remove the delivery fee from your order completely. Delivery for this coming Saturday shouldn't be a problem.
Im mad happy now cos delivery charge was £25 :o Make sure you complain when sh*t aint goin the way it oughtta

You were far too soft in the complaint imo. You offered to pay full delivery charge, even accepting the delivery would be 2-3 days late? And half the charge when it's a full week late? You're lucky they offered to waive the feeFully agree with the sentiment thoughWhen I complained about sh*t sound quality at the Stevie Wonder concert, I got given free top-price tickets to the next show (and had been way up in the nosebleed seats for the first show)The squeaky wheel gets the grease

Yeah you were a bit soft, and allow trying to bargain with them about delivery charges...When something like this happened to me i phoned up the company too and put them on the spot. They refunded my postage... and gave me like 10 pounds in vouchers. I let them know i was pissed...
