matuidi isn't shit2.5mill is good business.He us not the best option in the market. But he is better than the options we have.St ettienne have just signed fernandes from man city I believe. So this looks very likely to happen.

He's his club captain.Lol at this over 24 regulation, like say Cesc, Walcott, Nasri, or Clichy are 24, or that when we signed Sagna he was proven (infact he'd played only 84 games in France) yet a year later he was the best RB in the Premiership.Compared to Matuidi who has already played over 120 Ligue 1 games and played for France at every level except full yet.

Major, Matuidi isnt ready to be main defensive mid even with everything the guy above says. Him being signed would only make sense if one of the trio named was shipped out.That transfer money really could of been done with.

You miss the point totally. Is there any point in replacing diaby/song/denilson with somebody under the age of 24, who hasn't established themselves as a proven player at the highest level?

Cos he is 26 and plays for brazil.Obviously if the quality is there it don't matter about age, but in that midfield area we have enough young players, is Matuidi a much better player than Song/Denilson/Diaby? Surely we're looking to add experience, going by what wenger has said he knows that too.

No you miss the point, in one season Sagna, who wasnt proven at the highest level and was probably under 24, came into our team and became the EPL best right-back and dare say if he'd stayed fit or the finale of that season we might have gone further in the CL or league...

No you miss the point, in one season Sagna, who wasnt proven at the highest level and was probably under 24, came into our team and became the EPL best right-back and dare say if he'd stayed fit or the finale of that season we might have gone further in the CL or league...
Not saying unproven players don't work, we have seen at arsenal for the last 10 years that they often do. Vieira or Anelka would have been a better example. But in the DM area we need experience not another 21 year old to compete with the players we have. we need someone established who is the 1st name on the team sheet next to Cesc, otherwise it's pointless.
