Em Dott Posted June 25, 2009 Report Share Posted June 25, 2009 Just had a bit of good fortune.Have been speaking to some guy about a trainee financial advisor position and long story short, he said he and his clients (the banks I would get a placement with) believe I'm the ideal candidate for the position. All I need to do is a one module for a CeFA qualification and if I pass that they will fund the rest of my studies. The guy is going to call me back in about 10 minutes to send me my course details and login stuff so I can start the 2 week program. After 2 weeks, I take the exam, and hopefully I pass and get a placement. Though I was looking to get into accountancy, I will take this and run with it as long as I am happy to. I just want to be able to hook me and my sister up to get out of our situation and then anything else is a bonus. And I should be able to start my studying tonight if I want to. Think I may start tomorrow morning. I get a tutor as well to help me with anything I struggle with. I originally was happy with the 18K it stated on Reed, but he said he would make them give me a minimum of 23K/25K. I actually wouldn't mind where I got it in all honesty.
