favourite media quote from this incident

Sources say that Arenas, in response to what was said on the flight, placed three guns he owns on a chair near Crittenton's locker stall and invited him to pick one before practice on Dec. 21. Sources said that Crittenton subsequently let Arenas know that he had his own gun.

Kobe is level with Patrick Ewing in 15th highest scorer in the league ever. Should pass him tonight. Very good first half for Lakers, Bench is actually doing something, tis a madness. 64-39! Would be disastrous to lose from here.

Totally deaded the Mavs, 131 - 96! 7 players on double digits for scoring as well. Bryant distributed the ball well and everyone was on point. Farmar had a nuts game last night, the Lakers bench need to do it more often otherwise it will be our downfall!

Gil don't give a f*ck  Gunfingers at his teammates during the Wizards on-court intro:97qwef.jpg

[Arenas] said Al Sharpton owes him an apology because someone who claims to be a leader of the people shouldn't make comments when all he did was read the paper about the situation. Gilbert called Sharpton's comments "unfair." All he wants is an "I'm sorry" from Al. He also said the media is slandering him and "don't know the whole story." When asked about Philly fans chanting "Don't shoot," Gilbert said it doesn't bother him because he "didn't do anything wrong." On his birthday, which is tomorrow, he just wants to beat Cleveland - a city that really "hates" him. And he said he's more scared of David Stern than the authorities because Stern is "mean."He smiled during the whole interview. Some old guy was standing there between Gilbert and the reporters (probably a lawyer) and kept shaking his head whenever Gilbert would talk, but Gilbert kept talking. The guy eventually walked off.
