Just heard Deadpool say "I just beat Mag- f*ckin-neto, wheres yo curleh mustaache" Im slyly gettin gassed for this game. Did he really say that?? I hope some off the matches were capped I missed it all. The one thing thats annoying me about this game is the character select screen music. Its so jarring. Infact im not feeling one soundtrack on this whole thing. BTW from what ive seen Arthur will be the new Megaman, he seems like a frustrating keepaway. I just used to play with my cousin back in the day with man like Stryder, Psylocke and Cyclops. Obviously i will be learning as i go so people can easily be replaced. If he hits you with it he gets faster and stuff and if he hits you enough with them, he messes up your controls reversing left/right or some madness like that. On top of that he just looks so dry. As I keep saying, people shoudln't worry about Marvel experience. Look at the stream yesterday, a couple of the people playing were Marvel players and they looked like hot garbage. Amaterasu or whatever looks sick Yeh. Keep away with someone who can cause big damage when needed (Super Skrull). Modok sounds interesting and Justin showed how lame Trish can be last night. Can MODOK block normally? Seth: Yes, MODOK can block normally Keits: MODOK gains what we are calling "levels of understanding" when he hits with certain moves (analyse cube). Can you tell me exactly how this works? Which moves power it up? Which moves are powered up by it? Which moves reset his understanding back to zero? Seth: MODOK is straight ridiculousness. You gain "levels of understanding" through successful hit with an Analyze Cube. The "levels" can be used in ways to basically give you really powerful versions of existing attacks (the powerup effect from the cube remains until been used). You can stack up as many of these as you like, and you can combo into the Analyze Cube, though it typically ends the combo with that move. Here are the unique moves MODOK gets when he has a "level of understanding": --Psionic High Blast: does about 2x as much damage as regular Psi blasts, and causes opponent to reel and leaves you with a brief window for followup attacks afterwards. --Super "Aegis" (not the real name): back+C produces MODOK's small "Aegis Reflector"-ish shield. With an Analyze Cube, you can produce a giant-sized version of this same shield. It doesn't hit like an Aegis, but is virtually impenetrable (to anything less than a super) for a while, and the giant version is so big you have to superjump just to get over it. It's obviously great on defense, but just like the Aegis, firing it out actually lets MODOK rush you down. --Jamming Bomb: A slow-moving, tracking projectile that causes reel on hit but also causes the opponent's controls to be briefly reversed, a la Thanos and the Mind Gem from MSH. Ok so MODOK can block.... This "levels of understanding" business sounds interesting. Anyway im waiting for the full roster before I start saying charcter names. Chun Li - her lockdown assist is too much its like doom rocks but chun li is a good character too whilst doom looks lacklustre even if they push block the assist you get a high low mix up and in x factor shes fast as f*ck/Crazy mix up character that can capatalise on her lock down assist aka X-23? Phoenix? Zero? Storm? dunno/ someone else I dunno who i like the idea of taskmaster a LOT if hes in the game his character design is too much / SC2 tonight?
