djbmc Posted November 7, 2011 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 u can be pretty precise with Logic, double click the audio to open it in the audio editor, click the 'detect transients' button, it'll put a load of markers down, u can check them to see if they're accurate enough and tidy them up, then right click the audio file in the sequencer window and select 'convert to new sampler patch' and select the option to split at transient markers, it'll give u a new EXS24 plus a MIDI file which functions precisely the same as a .rex file. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
