MS SQL all the way, its much better then MySQL (In my opinion). But ona real, I think the only difference is a few syntax changes between the two. Get MS SQL 2005 Express edition, google that and download it for free. They got tutorials on the MS site you download it from, so you can't really go wrong.The basic SQL stuff is easy like simple select and insert statements. But i could paste some complex sh*t using cursors and complex variables that will make you cry.If you're just creating a front end VB application with a backend MS-SQL database, it shouldn't be too hard.
